Online Training - MModal Fluency Direct

MModal Fluency Direct is a voice-to-text software solution that enhances Cerner PowerNote. Using a hand held microphone, the physician is able to dictate directly into the EMR’s PowerNote free text areas, reducing or even eliminating the need for typing. Physicians who have been assigned a Fluency Direct License will able to use Fluency Direct with PowerNote from the hospital, home, or office.

The Fluency Editor is an integrated application that allows you to dictate into, create text snippets, copy, paste, and edit. The benefit of Fluency Editor over the standard text/note pad is that Fluency Editor can also respond to a pre-defined set of voice commands. To insert dictation from Fluency editor scratch pad, go to free text or other area of PowerNote template, hold down record button and say “insert fluency editor here”.
